Description
PLECTRUM Acoustic Series are soft
sounding strings for acoustic guitar
with low tension on the bottom end.
The plain strings are mode of brass
coated steel, the wound strings have a
silk inlay in combination with a highly
flexible steel core. A, D, G strings are
polished bronze flatwound, Bass-E is
polished bronze roundwound.
PLECTRUM are available for 6- and
12-string instruments.

I put these on a Takamini G series with cedar top, auditorium sized ish. Not dreadnought or jumbo.
I had tried phosphor bronze, different brands. Guitar sounded stiff, plastic, b and g strings honky and too loud. Was going to get rid of guitar, then decided to try these strings first.
Saved the guitar. Finally sounds good, sweet and woody. It has a workable tone.
Playability is amazing. Feels slinky, silky, low string noise, but still some, enough to give acoustic feel to sound.
Guitar has electronics, piezo. Strings also sound way better amplified than reg pb strings.
Will by them again, will try more TI strings.
