You Got It!, This is the most easiest compact guitar tuner I have ever used. My tune up time is finished within minutes and I am good to play at the Senior's Happy Hour. YES I would recommend this tuner to all my friends. "Happy Strumming!"

Want a cheap tuner that works, I?d recommend. Im sure its possible as the batteries get low it may not work as well as charged batteries, but thus far works as advertised.

Bought this as a first clip on tuner. It will work if you hammer on the strings. It will not pick up a low E on a guitar worth a damn. Fighting back and forth passing the green point. Tried it on my les paul, my washburn acoustic and my MIM telecaster. Same results on all 3. Maybe I got a dud, but I upgraded to a Snark tight and wont look back.

I haven't owned a hand held tuner in years but wanted to try a clip-on after seeing the guys on Andertons TV use them, so I literally purchased the cheapest one I could find. I think it was $11.99, so I worried how well it would work. So far pretty impressed, good value for the money right out of the gate. It actually worked better and faster than the Fishman tuner that is built into my Almansa nylon string classical guitar. Seemed really accurate whether tuning to E, Eb, dropped D etc. I used it on a handful of guitars and a Bass. The orange screen turns Green when you reach your pitch and has different settings for Chromatic, Guitar, Bass, Violin, and Uke, I even clipped it on to my 100+ year or piano and worked perfectly. Pros: cheap, smaller than expected, accurate Cons: Plastic between the tuner and the clip is small and thin. Looks like it will break if you bang it into anything or drop it the wrong way.

I never tune any instrument before but with this, I was able to tune my violin in a few minutes and it is accurate. It is easy to tune an instrument using this as it shows you whether to turn the peg left or right by observing where the arrow is pointing as you pluck the string.

This was suggested to me by one of the staff (sorry, I did not get your name), even over more expensive alternatives. Thank you! It took me all of 5 minutes to get my fiddle in tune from floppy strings. I have not tuned an instrument in decades, and this was dead simple! Now it sounds beautiful.
