This pedal has driven me insane for years due to a squeak. I recently YouTubed how to take it apart and was easily able to locate the squeak and oil it. No more squeak!
This pedal feels good to use and works as expected. It does slide away from you on hardwood floors sometimes if it catches pet hair underneath. I've used other pedals that have a rubber heel rest and I think that would be better. But now that it doesn't squeak, I really can't be fussed to replace it. Works fine.
