DR's Pure Blues bass strings are now available in sets for 4-, 5- and 6-string basses. Pure Blues sets are offered in Light (PB-40), Medium Light (PB-45/100), Medium (PB-45) and Heavy (PB-50) gauges for 4 string basses. Medium gauge 5 (PB5-45) and 6 (PB6-30) string packs are also available.

The DR Pure Blues bass strings are much discussed in online forums and leave no one indifferent. They are particular. Soft nickel strings with the brightness of steel strings but without the zinginess. Especially musical and melodic. They are a bit more expensive than others in this range but worth it, a must try for sure, the only ones for me from now on.
