The cushioning tape on the capo peeled away as I released pressure on the capo. The force of the spring combined with the metallic edge of the capo took a bite out of the finish of my guitar. Not a cheap guitar either. It's a Gibson J-45

Having a capo like that since the mid 90's, always the same... and it works as fine as when I buy it has a teenager !

I have this capo - it's fine, and does the job. However, I find it to be a bit flimsy. I dropped it and it exploded into pieces. I could put it back together but now it's very loose and I think I will have to go get a new one.

I bought this capo just after Moses invented dirt. Lol. Thinking late 80's, early 90's. Ive NEVER had any problems, its still going... It has some small string indents that arent causing any problems. Yet. I WILL be buying another if / when the time comes. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a capo...

It's east to put on and take off the guitar. Also I always get clean sound when I have it clamped and where on my guitar

For me I recommend this capo for all guitarist ... I'm not comparing to other capo's but this grips good and never get loose and you can move it while playing ( higher / lower ) . this is great
