Description
Evans Genera HD Snare drumheads feature two plies of film. An outer ply of 5mil film and an inner ply of 7.5mil film, in combination with a 2mil overtone control ring on the underside that floats with the head, eliminating excessive overtones and controlling sustain.

I have been using this drum head for a while now on my Bubinga/Birch Snare and just recently placed one on my brass snare and it sounds amazing, out of all the different heads that i did try over the years this is my favourite on both of my snare drums, it last a decent amount of time, the tone is really nice with very little dampening, if you are trying different drum heads i would recommend that you give this one a try i don't think you will be disappointed

I have tried several drum heads on my Bubinga/Birch Snare and this head is a great match to this snare it sounds amazing, only thing i did not like is the white coating did not last very long but overall the head sounds good, the head does last a decent amount of time, but could use a better lasting coating, would i buy it again, yes i would because my snare just comes to life with this head.
