I really love the Ultex Sharps and they are excellent for bass players(don't @ me) they're just slightly oversized and the sharp point is really great for getting note clarity without having to dig too hard and lose your low end or worse - break a string. I order them in 72 packs because i prefer the lighter guages (.90 or 1.0) and steel bass strings are hard on all picks. I generally play them until they're rounded off more than I like, but occasionally they will break after extended use. I wouldn't call them fragile though, they're just more stiff than the nylon ones, but thats what gives them more tonal clarity. I'll play these until they stop making them.
