I had been oogling the vintage Hummingbird for 2 years and every single time I demo'd the guitar, I ws amazed at the superior sound. I had a Gibson Songwriter Ltd which was a nice guitar, but it could not measure up to the tone of the hummingbird. To say the Hummingbird is rich is an understatement. It is deep, bassy, full, articulate tone. Finger pick, strum, it does it all with effortless action and it resonates like no other guitar I have played. Strum a chord, go make a coffee and come back to the same chord. A bit of an exaggeration but it is almost that good. No more guitars for me. This is the one.
