I've tried a variety of sticks... Ahead aluminum sticks, and various models and sizes from various manufacturers. Some were better than others, some worse. But the Nicko McBrain's work the best for me playing classic rock. Very seldom does one break, and when it does, its usually from being chewed up by the hihats.
