I went through 3 of these at $80 a pop. Lost1 and the other 2 just crapped out and stopped working. Whoever designed this completely neglected to give it any adjustability. They worked fine for about a year. Never buying another TC electronics product, ever and thanks for selling me this junk.

I bought one of these less than 2 years ago. At that time it was around $85. For that price you'd think you'd be getting a quality piece of gear right? You're not. It started to intermittently fail to power up. I thought it was the battery. It wasn't. At less than 2 years old it failed completely. The TC customer service rep told me it was a known issue with these tuners and failures such as mine were common. They wouldn't however, replace it as I no longer had the proof of purchase. They did offer to repair it if I would pay shipping to and from the US which would be more than the cost of a new one. It did a nice job when it worked. Did it work better than a $25 Snark? No, it didn't , and my 10 year old Snark still works like a charm. I see that the price has just dropped recently to $53. I'm thinking that it has something to do with the undependability issue. Don't waste your money. Get something else.

I play 100 shows a year and I've gone through 10 various tuners. Accuracy, style, shape, visibility. Excellent choice!

Looks nice and really easy to read but when trying to tune, especially the low E it would do nothing but flash it's digital lights, giving me trouble tuning especially when performing.

Nice tuner, but be aware that the reference pitch is A4 = 435 to 445 Hz only and is not firmware upgrade-able. Also buttons 2 & 3 are a little too close together for proper operation by fret callused fingers (buttons 2&3 held together allow pitch change).

I was frustrated with cheap tuners, was considering a polytune pedal but discovered the polytune clip. I used a cheap pedal and clip tuner, as well as one built into my Blackstar practice amp but found none were accurate enough when trying to set up the intonation on a guitar on which I'd replaced the bridge and neck. This tuner is FANTASTIC. It is very accurate and intuitive to use. The LED "scale" is graduated very finely; there are a lot of LEDs and their brightness is variable. Bottom line, this thing may seem expensive but it works great on electric or acoustic/classical guitars. It's also well designed physically - metal clip with soft plastic ends and a strong steel spring. The polytune is great for a quick and dirty tune. If tuning strings individually, just pick or pluck it. For polytune, just strum - it will switch automatically and quickly.

When I pick a string or a set of strings, it immediately shows the notes. I used a lot of different brands, The best clip-on tuner on the market. Also, looks good!

After some disappointing experiences with some budget clip on tuners I wanted one that would work. The Polytune Clip is the most expensive of the clip on tuners, but is without a doubt the best. The poly mode is so convenient to check tuning quickly and the strobe mode is so accurate. I've actually taken the pedal tuners off my board. From now on, this is it!

After following the announcements since late Spring by TC Electronics, I've been waiting for this clip on tuner to hit Canada. Took a couple mins to figure it out (note: go online and download the real manual - the sheet that comes with it is pretty much useless). Using the polyphonic mode made identifying out of tune string a snap ... well, actually a strum. :) It is priced higher than other decent clip on tuners, such as Snark, but IMO, still a good value.
