Got it as a DI to a mixer, the amp simulations are a bonus. I use the fender-like setting the most for clean settings but it has 3 in total the others provinding a lot of crunch sound.

Bought one of these as a backup in case I ever need to run my pedals direct to the board. Sounds really good. Can't beat the price. Even turned off to use just as a DI is good. The distortions are fine too thanks to the EQ and mic placement adjustments. If you need REALLY clean tones you have to twiddle with it a bit more but it does the job. I even use it as a DI for playing bass direct to the board at church while our amp was out for repairs...worked great. I am going to invest in the acoustic version as well. Every guitarist should have one of these.

I use this pedal at the end of my pedal chain as a lead boost and if needed to plug direct into the board as a failsafe in the event I have a problem with my amp. My buddy has a Sansamp and this works just as well and sounds just as great.
