The SM200 effects pedal smoothes out your guitars attack and swells the volume automaticallyletting your guitar sound like a violin. This pedal provides a very classic and famous slow motion sound effect.
The SM200 features dedicated Attack and Sensitivity controls for awesome sound shaping. A cool blue status LED for effect on/off and battery check plus a first-class electronic on/off switch for highest signal integrity in bypass mode are included. The SM200 runs on a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (not included).

i got this pedal for x mas a long with cs 400
and right out of the box the slow motion didn t work . so right now i m not shure
if i will buy the other behringer products i was thinking about

Great effect for the money. An old guitar player in a band I was in used to have the Slow Gear and I loved the way she used it for some cool solos with delay. Anyway, the SG-1 costs a fortune and is impossible to find. This, for 26$, is a great substitute. Like the other reviewer says, does what it is called; Slow Attack. I love mine but watch the build quality, abuse or rough handling will kill Behringer gear.

This unit does what it is built to do. It adds a brief volume swell to your notes. It is not meant for strumming nor fast picking. Pair with a delay and/or envelope filter to get some nifty slow soloing sounds. The battery access is not difficult to get to at all. It is plastic and $26 but for the money, a nice to have. Certainly not essential.
