The convenience, lighter weight and small 'footprint' of a box mixer with the tilt-back visibility and channel control access of a desk mixer makes these new 'wedge' mixers an ideal high power, high quality powered mixer solutions. High-powered high-efficiency class-H power amplifiers, newly designed input strips, on-board DSP, a new, more effective master EQ section and ten very useful and usable input channels complete the new 'wedge' mixer packages.

The 800-watt M810-2 has two integrated 400-watt power amplifiers that can be assigned as stereo mains, or mono main and mono monitor. Each amplifier is attached to an innovative master EQ section designed specifically for these new mixers. The master EQ has a 9-band graphic EQ with additional high and low shelving EQ's at either end of the frequency band. The nine graphic sliders are essentially all of the middle bands of a 15-band graphic EQ with the low and high frequency bands covered by separate shelving controls. This gives the user more control over the feedback-prone mid frequency bands; with high and low tone-shaping frequencies controlled by additional simple +/- 15 dB trim controls.

The M810-2 has 10 input channels. The first six channels have balanced XLR microphone and TRS balanced inputs, input trim control, three-band EQ, master volume and trim set light. The mono line inputs on channels 5 and 6 are pre-EQ'd for Hi-Z instrument level input, making them an ideal place to start when looking for that perfect live acoustic guitar or direct bass sound. When the input trim level is properly set, users will have ample overall gain while taking full advantage of the new clip elimination circuit which makes it virtually impossible to distort the input of the microphone and instrument channels.

All Yorkville Box Mixers are built knowing they have to withstand a long worry free life on the road. Designed for the working musician, only high quality epoxy circuit boards coated with thick copper laminate and precision low noise components are used. Large heatsinks and variable speed DC fans ensure that the mixers keep their cool even under the most demanding live performance conditions. Of course MicroMIX mixers also come with Yorkville's standard two year unlimited transferable warranty in the USA and Canada, ensuring Yorkville mixers will continue to deliver the "Best Bang for the Box" night after night.

Chassis are constructed of heavy metal to withstand all the rocking and rolling associated with life on the road while inside we use high quality epoxy circuit boards coated with thick copper laminate and precision, 0.1-1% tolerance, low noise components. A large heatsink and a variable speed DC fan ensure that the mixers keep their cool. Of course MicroMIX mixers also come with Yorkville's standard two year (even if you break it!) transferable warranty in the USA and Canada. These are just a few of the characteristics which make MicroMIX mixers the "Best Bang for the Box".

Our 5 piece band has used this mixer for close to 10 years for small and medium sized gigs. Handles 4 vocals, drums and a helix lt and bass with ease; first with yx 15 passive speakers and 3 yxp monitors and now with the new HK Audio Polar 10 column speakers and the monitors. These are built like tanks but aren't as heavy as one. So easy to move, set up and run.

I have owned a M810 mixer for over 10 years and have used this p.a on stage with ease.Sending drum channels from a sub mixer to the stereo channel allows the remaining channels to be utilized by keys (stereo), acoustic guitar,D.I bass and mics.Plenty of power and a Amp in if need be great mixer, money well spent.

I have had one for about 8 years and love it. Unfortunately it doesn't always power the two speakers when in stereo. Seems to be related to a sticky knob or bad circuit. I have had it cleaned before which got it working well for about 6 months and then it started up again. Then went away and is back again. Have to push the stereo mono button a few times and eventually it kicks both speakers in, usually lasts for an hour, but sometimes it is intermittent like every 15 minutes or so. Still highly recommend them, mine might be a dub or I don't take good enough care of it. It just sits in the basement.

Used this at church, on the road, at home and it just keeps on working great. Lots of power for small to medium rooms, enough effets to keep musicians happy and enough channels to fit everyone in.

Have rented this little box mixer many many times. Have not been disappointed with it at all. Used it for school dances with YX150 cabs. Was asked by the students to turn the volume down. (???) WOW!!! It's not a desk mixer so there is some light strain on the wrists when riding the volume for a lengthy period of time. Solution was to move the mixer from angled to straight position on table. Other than that issue it runs cool and clean, no distortion at all. And it's easy to carry too! Will most certainly buy one in the near future!!!!!

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
