The Push 2 completely opens up Ableton, and makes using it an absolute dream. My use case, as a guitarist, I have Ableton open whenever I am noodling, and have my amp line-out coming into my interface. If I ever hear anything I like, I tap a single button on the Push and record it, simple as that. If I really like it, then within a minute, I add bass and drums using the Push. I have a default layout that makes everything very quick. This makes the noodle > song process so much smoother, and organic. Love it.

I purchased the ableton push 2 mainly for the step sequencing and sampling feature, but I was blown away when I found out that I could add vsts like Xfer Records Serum from the push 2 and map the encoders to parameters in the vst. Also, I really like the scale function, and I would recommend this for any ableton user. I like the push 2 more that any other midi controller that I have tried, it really boosts your workflow and makes everything much simpler.
