Sabian's Sound Kit is a complete microphone and mixer kit designed as a simple solution to drum sounds in a variety of scenarios.
The drum mixer is equipped with a kick-tuned channel, two optimised overhead channels, a high output headphone amp with both 3.5mm and 1/4" jacks, and a lineout for live audio applications. The mixer comes with preset audio filters on each channel designed to maximise the quality of sound. The user still has the ability to customise their sound by boosting or cutting high and low frequencies.
The mic set includes a dynamic kick drum microphone featuring a frequency response tailored specifically for bass drums and a diaphragm dynamic design built for the high sound pressure levels of today's kick drums. Also included are two overhead microphones optimised for cymbals. The SABIAN Sound Kit is designed to optimise a proven mic-placement technique called the Recorderman. This method helps drummers achieve a desirable natural drum sound easily, quickly and without any fuss.

I picked up a Sabian Sound Kit a few weeks ago, and for the money I can't say enough about it. It's not studio-quality, but for practicing with background tracks/music, recording for practice, practicing with a click track/metronome, and small venue amplification that doesn't require a battalion of mics (which I have yet to try, but the sound through the mixer and headphones is phenomenal for the price?..), it's an amazing product. I wish that I would have had this setup many years ago when I was playing small venues professionally. I had to play with the overhead mic positioning a bit with my 6-piece kit with two floor toms, but it does everything as advertised and more. Even for just practice in general, it cuts all the overtone noise in my office/practice room and provides a clear rendition of what's going on at the kit/head level. Fantastic product! Just be aware that you will have to invest in some quality boom stands and cables, but it's still a great deal.
