Bought on sale . Real bargain. Used with Yamaha MG10XU, , FetHead on XLR, phantom power on, gain just before clipping, compression at 9 o'clock, level at 3 o'clock, EQ on neutral. Sweet, warm sound from somewhat harsh male baritone, may be a touch too sweet, but that obviously depends on circumstances.

I bought this on a whim, as it was on sale. I tested it side by side with my SM58, and they are nearly identical in sound, with the Blue being slightly brighter and transparent. I love it and now own four of them. They are built very well too.
