Description
Despite its ultra-compact size, this 4-channel line mixer is big on features! Expanding on the capabilities of standard-size mixers is where the MX400 does extremely well, for example as a sub-mixer. If you are running short on available channels on your big mixer and need to bring the output of three different keyboards into your mix, you can simply connect them to the MX400, work out the keyboard mix, and connect the MX400s output to a single input on your main mixer.

This is an excellent mixer for the price. I use it to mix acoustic guitar and mic - then output to a single channel guitar amp or to headphones for practice. It works very well for this application. It is very small and you could mount it on a guitar pedal board if needed.
Most of the complaints online seem to focus on the fact that each channel is mono - but it was clear to me that this is a line mixer made for mono inputs such as guitar and microphone. If you want to mix stereo inputs this will not work for you. The output is also mono, so you will need to take that into account when using stereo headphones - but no problem for me once I got an adapter. It would be unreasonable to expect stereo input or output at this price.
I have only used at fairly low volume levels so cannot comment on the noise level.
