White hickory is the most common hickory in Los Cabos' drumstick production - It absorbs shock and can take a beating. Red hickory also absorbs shock well and has been proven to withstand greater amounts of stress.

I tried lots of different sticks in order to find my sound and ended up sticking with the Los Cabos 7A. They are consistent, comfortable, extremely durable (rock/metal) and most importantly great sounding on the ride but also full bodied on the skins. I tell every drummer I know about Los Cabos sticks, these things rock
