I've tried a couple of different brands and these are by far the sturdiest; they'll hold some pretty heavy speakers quite securely. We now own 2 pair. The tripod legs are a bit of a trip hazard when fully extended but that's the price you pay for stability. Don't expect the cheap nylon carrying bag to last longer than a couple of gigs though.
