Young Heung's Deluxe Oblong Wooden violin case is constructed of a super light, water resistant cordura fabric with a full length zippered music pocket, extra top handle, snap-close weather guard, two shoulder straps, pinch style latch w/key, and metal d-rings.
The two tone interior includes a diamond quilted, suspension foam padded bottom, string tube, four bow holders, two accessory boxes, velcro neck restraint, blanket, hygrometer, and thermometer.

I have used the same violin case for my entire life, which I inherited from my teacher, so it was old, extremely heavy, and deteriorating to the point of being dangerous... while still immense and very useful.
For Christmas my wife bought me this case... based on my requirements and interests.
It's better than I'd hoped - quite light but not foam-case light, very solid, zero issues so far (other than the hygrometer and thermometer being questionable as to their functionality but I need to pop them out and see if they are adjustable... there are drop in replacements very cheap on amazon if needed), although very attractive), and protects my old italian violin extremely well. Love this!
It's also beautiful, stylish, luxurious imho, and has lots of storage (Even for my soundpost adjustment tools, which I keep with me generally as I work on other folks' violins as part of my day job).
It has straps that I haven't ventured to figure out yet, for shoulder carrying, because the mount points on the case aren't obvious to me about how they should be attached, but I'll try to find photos sometime and figure that out, or just dive in and experiment until I find the best way for me.
I do recommend this case, and this manufacturer. Just keep in mind you may need aftermarket temp/humidity gauges to swap in place of the supplied ones, probably depends on the day of the week they made the case ;-)

This case was included when I purchased my intermediate level violin, it's a lot lighter than it looks and allows space for all the accessories that are inevitable with an instrument. Well put together.
