Pickup simply does nothing and emg wont offer any assistance on issues.

I replaced an EMG 81 with the 57, simple "plug and play with the "soderless system" they offer. well I tried....... this pickup picks up no gain and is about 60% quieter than an emg 81 (yes i tried replacing the battery) overall this thing can barley keep up to blues and jazz needs let along rock or metal. do not waste your time with it.
