Improved neck attachment is made of a very high quality glass-filled nylon.
The new neck offers some marked advantages over the previous one; it has far superior memory and phenomenal shaft adhesion. In addition, since it captures and secures the nut, it now only takes a screwdriver - no wrench - to connect (and remove) the neck and desk to the shaft.
