I bought this about a year ago, basically on a whim. As it looked so unique, that I thought I should have one. Excellent idea. I use it for my Taylor 214CE SB DLX whenever I am playing away from home and even at home for refreshment breaks, etc.
It only weighs 20 ounces, but absolutely not flimsy at all. It holds my guitar perfectly and feels as solid as any wooden stand. I am confident that this will out last any of the metal ones, as I have had them and after a few years the joints get sloppy on them. This one has a LIFETIME warranty! Would fit in a gig bag, but there is not enough space in my Taylor custom case for it, so it easily fits in my back pocket. I wish the stores stocked them...
