Application
High output single-coil-size "rails" humbucker. Great for classic rock, garage, punk, heavy rock, thrash, classic metal and nu-metal.

Description
One of the highest output and most popular pickups we make. The two thin blades, strong ceramic magnet and powerful coil windings give you the incredible sustain and a fat, full sound that's needed for playing heavier rock music. This pickup responds to the subtlest finger movements. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable.

Complete Setup
Available for both bridge and neck/middle positions. For an incredibly versatile guitar, use an SHR-1b in the bridge position along with an SVR-1n Vintage Rails in the middle and an SCR-1n Cool Rails in the neck.

Guitars
For all well-balanced instruments. Works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.

Available Mods
Choose white or black housing.

Players
Janick Gers & Dave Murray / Iron Maiden, Troy VanLeeuwen & Josh Homme / Queens of the Stone Age, Greg Camp / Smashmouth, Jim Wilson / Rollins Band

I'm playing a (heavily) modified Squier Classic Vibe 50s strat, which previously had a set of Fender Tex-Mex pickups, which sound great but the bridge pickup sounded a little crappy when overdriven hard, so instead of getting a new guitar I bought this on a whim in a store, and boy am I pleased with it! Guitar sounds amazing, the sounds are clear and strong and very warm in clean. Now I want another for the neck!

I wanted to get a beefier song from my Strat, than what I could do in the fourth switch position and gain on my Bugera amp, and didn't want to buy another guitar specifically for the hum bucker. Luckily for my my search came up aces when I found this beauty. Not only did it fulfill it's promise, it sounds mean and nasty when turned up. Saved me at least $400 and I did the Mod. myself with their handy instruction page and a video from Youtube. Love this thing!! If any Strat owners are looking for this type of pickup, look no further than Seymour Duncan. Looks really nice on the guitar as well.

Getting to the point, loaded a JB JR into my strat plus deluxe sounded too thin for me , I went for the hot rails and Im 100% satisfied it was warmer fatter/ punchy and had more hair on top very very close to a humbucker Im happy with my hot rails price was a little high and I was charged 10% restocking charge on a new pickup I bought and traded in from L&M within days "sucks to be me" they have me by the balls, any how overall this pickup wins for me .
