I love sonic fidelity in music, so I needed something better than DJ headphones to produce/mix with. My criteria was high quality, and a flat sound that gave me a good representation of the sound. Also, I wanted other artists music to sound good on it too.
Nearly 3 years later, and I have not returned the headphones, nor have I looked for a better set. I absolutely love these. I love them because I trust them. I haven't bounced an item, tested it on other sources and said "oh I missed that".
Only Note:- The plug on the headphones came loose. I super glued it in place. It is stronger now.
These headphones fit my purpose. The only downside, is that it takes quite a bit to power them. I think they would be best with a high end interface or a proper pre-amp. I had a mid-level interface, and it didn't cut it (That's not their fault though). I am satisfied.
