After playing with this month for about 6 months, I can say that the weakness in this amp is the speaker. It really sounds choked, especially compared to earlier spider models. If you're using this with headphones, you'll be fine -- but through the speaker, the sound is not that great. I'm giving this a bad review because quite frankly this is the most frustrating modelling amp I've owned. I've spent hours tweaking, just trying to get to a sound I like. It's not happening. Clean sounds are pretty sub-par. Be prepared to do a lot of tweaking within menus to get the sound you want. It's easier with an iPad or iPhone, but this is a limiting feature, not a benefit. I am included to go back to straight up solid state technology instead of modelling just because of this amp. All in all, I'm quite disappointed in this and would go for the Spider IV if I were to purchase a Line 6 again (but I think this has turned me off their products).

Pros: Tons of features, presets, sounds, etc... Easy to use via onboard controls, iOS or Android Added drum loops a bonus Cons: Not as full sounding as Spider 3 & 4 amps (smaller speaker and closed back). "Smaller" sound Power button on back sucks No editing from Windows/ MAC connections, just iOS/ Android. Android Spider control app lacking features Still a new release, so here's hoping they update iOS/ Android editing app, and enable Spider Editing from laptops/ PCs,
