When sticks are too loud and brushes are too soft, Hot Rods are the perfect balance. The original Hot Rods: what more can we say! Imitated by others, but never equaled.

When I saw Harry Miree play a pair & David Raouf tries to make his own, I thought: Wow! These are such a scam. But here's the turning point: I LIKE THEM, A LOT!! Just as advertised, they offer you another choice of sounds. Want deeper pockets? Get some hotrods. Want saucier grooves? Get some hotrods. They have this unimaginable inconsistency to the sound, yet it has such great stick definition. And I want to give Promark & D'Addario some great shout-outs, they live up to the legacy & advertisment. Looking for something softer than sticks, louder than brushes? Promark HotRods Sticks.

I've had them for about 3 weeks now and they are still holding together so they are durable. these are great for doing ride patterns, but if your ride has to much wash, then these wont be very useful for jazz and such. they make a very nice sounding click when you hit a drum or cymbal. they are great for softer players who need something quieter than a drumstick but louder than a brush. great overall product
