Basic compressor. Does what you expect it to. Nice little boost from it. You can definitely hear how it cleans up and evens out your sound. To my ears, it sounds great , and it won't break the bank. I have 3 of the smorgasbord line of TC pedals and they all work great so far. I also have the Prophet delay and the 3rd Dimension chorus, and get a lot of nice sounds out of those two, and the Forcefield just makes it all happen a little neater.
