Been renting this bass for a while now and love it. You can get a huge variety of sounds. Gotta love that SG design. Tuners are fine tuning wise, stays in tune pretty well. Only thing I have to say bad about it is that Its a little neck-heavy, so just a warning to bassists who are used to lighter necks. Overall, great bass.

I bought this bass about 2 years ago, i really like this bass really nice sound, however it is neck heavy, the volume and tone controls are so so, it holds its tune amazingly i practice with it every night and i check it every few days for tune but i only need to tune it about once a month as it keeps in tune really well, overall a very nice bass for the money

Just bought this bass-moved up from EB-0 to this.Just a couple of points- it is neck heavy- you have to constantly hold the neck- otherwise the tuners will be on the floor. Also, when I set it to treble- I lose all volume- unless I crank up the amp....otherwise, its a very good guitar, and has good tone variances.

From starters to professional players, everyone should give this bass a try! From it's vast variety of tones achievable with the flick of a few switches and knobs, to it's overall phenomenal appearance, you won't be let down with this bass. I've played my (black) EB-3 for about two years now, and it's still going strong! Solid bass! 9/10

I always wanted an EB-3 bass guitar, this replica seemed rather affordable. I remember feeling so excited and anxious to plug this in on the ride home from the music store. Forty minutes later I had arrived. I unlocked the door, kicked off one shoe (as the other was knotted beyond belief), and ran straight to my amp. I plugged in. I was mesmerized by the variety of achievable tones. I began to play through my favourite bass lines I had accumulated over the last eighteen years of playing. I kept adjusting the tone and pickup selector knobs in what seemed to be endless combinations! As I did this, I noticed something strange.... The notes were constantly dropping in tune. At first I chalked it up to the stretching of new strings. So I tuned... playing for minutes at a time before needing to tune again! The intervals of playing this sweet sounding bass turned from minutes to mere seconds as I laboriously tuned! I noticed the intonation becoming further and further adrift. The action rising like the morning sun! Constantly tuning while I wrestled the action on this bass guitar, I couldn't even begin to fathom what would come next! One fatal pluck of the A string drew a cacophonous racket AS THE BRIDGE PULLED RIGHT OUT OF THE BODY OF THE BASS GUITAR! Strings with bridge still attached, flinging about in the still apartment air! I braced for impact! Alas, I emerged unharmed Epiphone had skimped on the use of adhesives while applying the hardware! In fact, there was no trace of any adhesive whatsoever! Perhaps they had cored the holes too greedily. Perhaps this bass was never meant to withstand the caliber of these fingertips. Perhaps, I'll never know... In all seriousness, THIS BASS GUITAR LASTED LESS THAN THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE IT FELL APART IN MY HANDS. I apologize for the lengthy review, however, I felt the need to share my experience in a way that wouldn't just be a series of profanities. Oh yeah, I got my money back. Never again.

just bought this bass2 days ago and I'm in love already. The styling is great and the sound is amazing. My only issue is the placement of the strap button, becuase it's on the back, I find the neck droping down when not being held. Over all I saw for the price, it's a steal of a deal
