100-Watt valve head / Valve complement: 5 x ECC83 (12AX7s) in preamp, 4 x EL34s in power amp / 4 independent, footswitchable channels

In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 4-channel JVM410H 100-Watt Tube Head is the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made. It also boasts more gain than any other Marshall to date-and that's really saying something! Each of its 4 channels-Clean, Crunch, OD1 & OD2 are not only completely independent of each other, they all boast 3 Modes, all 12 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 4-channel effectively 12 Marshalls in one! The JVM410H has studio-quality Digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's two Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls. Even though the head and combo both house 28 controls and 8 LED switches on their front panels, they're incredibly simple to understand because of the extremely logical layout. Each of the 4 channels has the usual suspects when it comes to controls Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble & Gain-accounting for 20 of the 28 controls right away. Take away the 4 reverb controls and you're only left with 4 Master controls-2 Master Volumes plus Resonance & Presence.

I've owned one for 5ish years now. It does alot of things pretty good, but not any one thing exceptionally awesome. So right out of the box, this is a very modern, bright sounding amp...not a bad thing, but it's no vintage based marshall. 4 channels and 3 gain settings per channel will not disappoint you! Go from seriously awesome cleans, to plexi tones, to jcm800 tones, to all out jcm2000 grind. I've used it in my band since new, always got a killer sound playing every genre from 50s to metal. Highly recommend you try one and just buy it! You won't be disappointed!

It sounds amazing. 4 independent channels with their own EQ, volume, gain, and reverb settings. 3 modes per channel that captures every single Marshall tone you could ever want. The tonal flexibility is endless. Plus the included programmable foot switch is a huge bonus!

There are other amplifiers on the market who’s clean tones are superior. Let’s just get that out-of-the-way first. But if you want an incredible rock ‘n’ roll solution to your problems, this amplifier is that answer. With the three modes per channel, four channels in total you virtually have 12 amplifiers to choose from. From crystal clean to over-the-top saturation/distortion. I play high gain amplifiers and progressive lead guitar/metal music and incredibly the modern mode of channel4 is so over-the-top I have to admit I have found an amplifier with more than I need and use! Wow! Channel 3 is my favorite. Simply rolling off the volume on my guitar cleans up nicely and rolling up gives you unbelievable Marshall high gain tube tones. The digital reverb is useful. The most magnificent feature of this amplifier is its interaction with the foot controller. As long as the back line has a JVM, all you need to bring to your gig is your foot controller which instantly recalls all of your settings the second it is plugged in with a simple quarter inch guitar cable With amplifiers on the market retailing for over double what this monster amplifier sells for, there is more bang for your buck here hands-down than anything else around. It always seemed like everyone was playing Marshall and I just didn’t want to become part of the circle. I wanted something unique like a Rivera, Sioldano etc. But the only thing I had to say to myself after purchasing and getting used to this machine was: “what was I thinking not getting this thing years ago. Wow!“ Hands-down the best piece of gear I own or have ever owned. Bar none This amplifier was recommended to me by Mike Menza at the Henderson location in Winnipeg. That man knows what he is talking about and every question I have regarding guitar and gear goes directly to him. A professional serving professionals.

I have owned a number of amps in my days and have had EVH,Marshall,Fender,H&K,Mesa etc...all good amps. I even had fractal,Kemper,Helix.I have come back around to Marshall and since I play rock, blues, this amp fits the bill perfectly. With three modes on each of the 4 channels there is no sound you can not get with this amp.One can go from sparkle clean to high gain no problem. On the high gain channels you do get a bit of noise but as long as you dont crank the gain to crazy levels it is fine.I run this amp through a Marshall 2 12 cab and it sounds great. For rock Marshall just has a tone that sticks out in a band mix.The amp sounds good a most volume levels you do not need to crank the master to get a good tone. The two master volumes is a great idea for boosting leads or tones you want to stand out. I have a Boss NS2 and DD7 delay in the loop and thats it ,it rocks. Cannot say enough about this amp. Highly recommended !

Got this to replace an old JMP1 rack set up. More gain than I know what to do with. Super flexible gain, and tone options. You won't need any od, or distortion pedals in front of it. Sell them. Reverb is fine, but you can only alter the amount. You do get control for each Chanel. There is a model that replaces the reverb with 4 gates, I would have preferred that. I tried to see how loud I could stand it, I got to 4, and I like it Loud! Tone, and presence much better than EVH . It's a Marshall.

I'm currently looking at adding to and upgrading my current rig and i have been going through all the top brands and playing any thing I can get my hands on. I rented this head to take home and play and bring to a jam. WHAT A BEAST! is the best way to describe it! The best amp head Marshall has come out with to date! (classic Marshalls exempt) this amp i swear is every Marhsall ever made all rolled into one. it's so versatile with the 4 channels and 3 modes per. They took every thing that made the JCM800, 900 & 2000 so great and slammed it into this amp and more. it does take a while to dial in your sound on this amp cause there is so much you can do but once you do and understand how this amp functions and the tones you can achieve are unreal. i had a hard time bringing this amp back when my rental was up.

Love it. Best amp I have ever owned. This one is a keeper. Great support online on the JVM forum (tone settings, modifications, effects pairing, speaker pairing,....) It takes a little while to dial in your tone (it took me a month) but when you find it it's a monster.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
