The best of yesterday and today, the American Professional Telecaster is the latest form of electric inspiration from Fender.

Developed by vintage pickup master Tim Shaw, the brand-new V-Mod single-coil pickups are voiced specifically for each position, mixing alnico magnet types to produce powerful, nuanced tones with original Fender sonic DNA. Retain high end clarity when adjusting the volume controls, thanks to the new treble-bleed tone circuit that lets your tone shine through in all its glory. The newly redesigned Telecaster bridge sports three compensated brass barrel saddles for the perfect combination of vintage style with modern feel and performance. The modern "Deep C"- shaped neck profile feels just right in your hand while the narrow-tall frets make it easy to bend strings accurately and play perfectly intonated chords.

Step up and stake your claim to a legend.

Features:

V-Mod Pickups
V-Mod Telecaster pickups are engineered with a proprietary blend of alnico magnet types. Each pickup is voiced specifically for its position, creating high-output tone with vintage warmth and the crisp, clear sound
that made Fender a legend.

New "Deep C" Neck Profile
Designed for comfort and speed, the new American Professional "Deep C" neck profile sports more substantial shoulders?somewhat between a "Modern C"- and "U"-shaped profile. The increased mass and
altered geometry creates a more natural feel that's perfect for chord and single-note playing alike.

Narrow-Tall Frets
Narrow-tall frets are taller and narrower than their medium jumbo cousins, making them especially effective for bending notes and playing chords up the neck with perfect intonation.

New Bridge
The new Telecaster bridge sports three compensated brass barrel saddles for accurate intonation and vintage-informed tone. Combining vintage style with modern feel and performance, the redesigned "ashtray"
cover stays out of your way, even when palm-muting.

Treble Bleed Circuit
The treble bleed circuit maintains the high end when turning down the volume knob to reduce gain, letting your tone shine through, no matter where the instrument's volume is set.

New Hardshell Case
The Elite Molded Case features body-hugging contours to protect your cherished instrument, TSA latches for increased security and nested stacking ability for easy storage and secure transport.

I am a 30 year Gibson player, but I have always wanted a Telecaster. I saw this one on display and decided to try it out. When I picked it up, I knew instantly that I had to have it. Everything about it is executed perfectly; the feel of the neck, the frets, the weight and balance, and the sound unplugged was just amazing... the notes rang out like they were being plucked on a harp. Plugged in, this guitar delivers all of the Telecaster tone you could ever want and then some. The middle position is a bluesy dream. The bridge pickup is beautifully twangy and powerful, the neck pickup is smooth like Ted Greene Jazz. This is my perfect Telecaster!

I rented this guitar with the intent of buying it, but then decided after checking so many reviews of the MIM that I'd save some money. I purchase the MIM Deluxe and brought it home to play and compare with the Pro version I still had on rent. Night and day to me and the MIM went back the very next day and I purchased the American Professional.

Went in looking for a good used Tele. Had this new so I figured I'd just try it out, ended up buying it. No regrets, I love it. Played through my Deville it's the perfect sound.

I had been looking for a tele for a while, went to the store and tried a few guitars and this one was the one that stood out the most. The ash body and maple fretboard made it sound a lot brighter and snappier than the others I believe. Although the olympic white with rosewood was very nice also, I ended up getting this one, and I'm very happy with it. Great sounding pickups, especially the neck pick up that surprised me, the best sounding neck pickup on a stock telecaster that I have heard. Narrow-tall frets are also very nice, and the new neck profile is very comfortable, a little chunkier than the american standard, which I like. Compensated brass saddles are also a plus for me, I just think it makes the guitar look cooler, but that's just me. Overall, great guitar, 10/10

Went into the shop just to look around. Sales manager put this guitar in my hands. Traded in all my guitars for it that day. Narrow-tall frets are my favourite change from previous models. So smooth. Better control. Whatever they did to the tone knob is great. Doesn't sacrifice a lot of volume if turned down a bit. It's finally useful. Butterscotch Blonde is just classic. Only gripe is the compensated saddle peices. Having a bit of trouble with string spacing. Nothing major. Price is a bit steep too. 10/10 Would buy for the first time again.
