This is the Sprague Orange Drop .022 Microfarad tone capacitor. Highest quality tone capacitor available! Audio grade Polypropylene dielectric material provides a smooth, wah type tone with no sonic impurities. These are not the low-grade Polyester Orange Drops others sell. The cap is generally used with humbucking pickups.

I don't think the previous review is fair to the product. A capacitor of a given value will not give you better tone in a passive circuit like to a guitar tone pot. If it measures .022 it will sound the same whether cermaic, paper in oil ect. However Orange drops are made to a higher standard than most ceramic caps that come with imports and many American made guitars. They hold a closer tolerance, are more resistant to interference and damage, thicker leads and just generally higher quality. Paying $120 for 2 bumblebee caps is ridiculous; but 6 bucks for a Orange drop is a worthy upgrade for any guitar.
