A rich-grained mahogany top paired with Tasmanian blackwood back and sides give Taylor's medium-size cutaway Grand Auditorium body plenty of tonal and visual character. The clear, punchy midrange behaves well in a mix with other instruments, and delivers the kind of musical versatility that makes this a reliable guitar in different playing scenarios. Neo-traditional appointments complement mahogany's dark, vintage looks, including a shaded edgeburst top and all-satin finish. The guitar incorporates a Venetian cutaway and comes equipped with Expression System 2 electronics for a dynamic amplified acoustic sound.

I picked up this baby at Long & McQuade in Kanata. Traded in my EF508 KC Tak. Loved my Tak, but this Taylor has made parting with it easy. I had narrowed my choice to a Gibson J-45 and this Taylor. Liked the sound of the Taylor better. The photos show a pick guard, while the guitar I purchased doesn't have one. I didn't notice this at the time of purchase, or I would have asked about it. All in all, a very pleasant shopping experience and I'm very satisfied.

I have two electric guitars, one is a Gibson Les Paul 2013 and also a Acoustic Yamaha 2003 but this Acoustic-Electric Model 324CE recently purchased in May of 2018 is my best all around purchase I have ever made and why: -the acoustic quality sound that comes out of this guitar is says it all. Tried many guitars but kept returning to it's distinctive sound. -NOTE:Even More Amazing sound when plugged into an acoustic electric amplifier. -The colors of this guitar are absolutely gorgeous. - this guitar almost never gets out of tune during or when not being used.
