Description
Utilizing a completely new hammer peen and hammering technique, the B8X Ballistic Crash is a thin model that delivers funky, aggressive attack, fully capable of creating high-pitched mayhem while remaining musical. Not unlike a higher pitched HHX X-Treme Crash, the extra-larrge hammering pattern from the bottom creates a flexible cymbal that is more responsive and opens up quickly and easily. It also results in a pitch bend that is shaped upward, making for a trashy crash that is more than happy to go fully ballistic!

Sold my Sabian 18 AA thin crash as it was just to cutting and not dark enough for my taste. I checked out the B8X 18" ballistic crash in L&M and it seemed like the sound i was looking for. Pleasantly surprised this dark and less brighter cymbal soon took the center stage of my kit. Great to ride and has an excellent bell as well. $99 really where can you get a great sounding cymbal in today's market at that price
