Works as advertised. It's small, cheap, and fairly functional. I don't mind my kid using it as, for this price, I wouldn't be heart broken if it becomes damaged or lost.
To toggle between metronome mode and tuning mode simply press and hold the right button on the middle row (marked "mode").

Metronome works fine as expected but box and instruction sheet indicate it also will generate an adjustable A440 tone. I couldn't get it to switch into tone mode and neither could the clerk in the store. "Bring it back and we'll give you your money back"
