As stated below, I share the same opinion : In my experience: would never buy again; put on fresh set and they felt grungy, sounded flat, dark, and out of tune! Tried to get used to them but they felt like strings I would feel ready to change so…immediately noticed a huge difference when I put on a D’Addario set. Colour, feel, tone, and tuning stability all improved! For $2 less they are not worth it. Edit: I use D'Addario XL 10-52.

As good as any comparable brand name stings of equal construction and design.
I'll buy more.

I have 10 guitars, electric and acoustic. I have put L&M strings on both. I can't tell which guitars have the L&M strings on them and which ones don't. To me, they are just as good as anything. They sound good, stay in tune and last. I'm buying more of these.

These strings are more than adequate. They stay in tune, sound good and I haven't broken one yet. I used to pay extra for brand name and I'm not sure why. I would rather invest that money in equipment. Just thought I'd share my dirty little secret 🤙

I also had problems with the strings breaking after a very short use, but found the problem was not the strings, but the Tonepros blade type bridge. That's where the strings always broke. The two guitars I have with that type of bridge have now been changed to roller bridges...problem solved. String last a very long time now, not to mention that the greater contact point on the roller bridge gives both guitars a much fuller and better resonance and tone.

I was quite shocked to see such a negative review. I have been using these strings for many years now, only recently to have tried others brands. These strings are fine especially for the hobbyist as I play daily. They hold their own just fine. I usually change strings 2X a month and I also have 4 guitars. That can get costly. For $5.00 you really can't go wrong. They are not great, they are not bad. They are OK....which reminds me...I need to buy some.

Got two packs. Both packs came with at least one string that instantly broke the moment we laced it up.

These strings are made by Dunlop, and are great! They are equal in quality to any of the big brands but at a fraction of the price. The only downside is the dated packaging (hence 4.5 on Features); otherwise, you're getting brand-name strings at a significant reduction in price. Perfect for casual players, or players who are on a budget. Honestly, give these a try because quality-wise they are no different than any other big brand nickel strings. To reiterate, you are not sacrificing quality for price here. Tone is quite bright, great string clarity, and they are on the softer side in terms of feel.

I play a lot of guitar... like A LOT! also give lessons and jam with as much people and as often as possible! when you go through a set of strings a gig or weather you jam really hard, you will need to change them often... my go to was GHS boomers for years but these saved me quite a bit of money! I'm a little skeptical on trying acoustic strings... I use Martins... but, you never know!

I've been using these strings on most of my guitars over the past year, and they are great. You really can't beat them for the cost. I play quite aggressively, and often, haven't had one break yet. Highly recommended.

I have purchased a few sets of the L&M branded electric guitar strings ( 9-42 and 10-46 ) and been very pleased with them. They feel great, sound good and last as long as any other NPS strings I've used. In my opinion, the modest price is no reflection of the quality of the product. They're excellent; try them.

It wasn't my fault, as I'd installed 11 strings on two different guitars right before I installed this last one. Luckily, I had my previous 6th string, and I could install THAT. It was really frustrating, and though they cost only $4, I didn't really like this product overall.
