Answer: This kit is for converting passive pickups over to Active EMG style pickups.

I’m very not techie and it all went awesome. I suggest doing your toggle with their plug system while doing pickups. Went into Epiphone Les Paul great. Customer service is very helpful YouTube videos are very helpful and made it easy to do and follow
