It seems the "tri-glide adjustment at the back end" which Levy's is referring to is a rectangular buckle with a bar in the middle to hold the buckle where you set it. I managed to shorten the strap using two stainless steel key rings which I put through the two buckles at the end of the strap. It took some work, but I can still adjust the strap to lengthen it with the rings in place. Nice, cheap solution which will probably work best for playing my electric guitar seated as standing might put too much pressure on the rings and buckles. In the long run, another tri-glide buckle would be the better solution.

I have looked at hundreds of guitar straps in different stores and this is the most comfortable one I have found for my electric guitar. However, as another reviewer pointed out, the strap is much too long. I am going to have to get another buckle to adjust it or have it cut. I'm not sure what the "tri-glide adjustment at the back end" is as I don't see anything which resembles that description on my strap. The adjustment on my strap is a simple rectangular buckle at the end. I can't imagine who would want the extra long guitar strap which would add another 12 inches to the overall length.
