I wanted a second hi hat stand for gigging and that was quick and easy to set up. Even tho I only use a single pedal, I always found the 3rd leg of regular hi hat stands gets in the way of the snare stand legs. I also wanted something that had decent features and didn’t weigh too much. This checked all the boxes. Very Stable for a 2-leg stand and way faster to set up and tear down. The footboard folds up nicely for transport and the Center rod unscrews and can be stored inside the upper pipe for easy transport. Has all the features I wanted for the price - memory lock, 2 legs, swivelling footboard. It’s also nice to be able to adjust the tilt or angle (to an extent). I actually picked up the more expensive 910 speed cobra version of this stand for very cheap and ended up selling it and keeping mine. The 910 had way more features and adjustments but it weighed a lot more and the Lever glide didn’t feel as good to me as the straight pull rod on the 310. I bought mine in 2017 for $125 on sale. Definitely crept up in price since then but still the best value for a quality 2-legged hi hat stand.
