Question: Will this fit on my Mapex bass drum? If so, does it have rubber or protective gaskets inside to protect hoop when attached?

Answer: Yes, this will fit a Mapex bass drum. There is felt lined on the inside that wraps around the hoop.

I bought mine from L&M Pickering. I was looking at all types of mounts but, I didn't want anything that would damage the wood ring on my DW kick drum. Craig suggested the DW mount and as usual Craig was right. I love this thing. Great value, very strong great product!!
