The Red Storm pad features a special dual layer construction playing surface, designed to absorb the tip of stick like an actual drum head when struck. The 360 degree countersunk PTR (Poly Tech Rim) replicates the realism of an actual snare drum rim, providing excellent impact strength and volume for practicing rim shots and cross stick patterns.

• CNC milled Baltic Birch pad base design provides excellent durability from bumps or drops, a solid feel and true dynamic pitch when played from center to the edge of the pad
• A non slip ring surrounds the bottom of the pad for practicing on flat surfaces, your lap, or on top of a snare drum
• TSR (Tripod Stand Receivers) technology conceals snare stand tripod arms, allows the pad to resonate freely, and eliminates any "playing into the stand" feel.
