Schatten Design RB-2A Rockabilly Bass Dual Pickup System w/Preamp

The Schatten RB-2A Rockabilly Upright Bass Pickup System includes two sensors, one for the bridge and another for the fingerboard, each with its own volume control. A rosewood instrument jack assembly clamps between the D and A strings just above the tailpiece. The entire system is prewired and requires no soldering or drilling.

The RB-2A also includes a high quality onboard preamp with dual volume controls for volume and balance adjustments. The preamp automatically turns on when a cable is plugged into the jack, and turns off when the cable is removed to conserve battery power. The preamp assembly mounts to the underside of the tailpiece with the included industrial strength hook-and-loop attachment pads.

The second sensor element mounts to the underside of the fingerboard for that Rock-A-Billy string slap. Both sensors have a volume control so that you can individually adjust the effect of each pickup.
