I play in a metal band. I needed a pick for the crushing riffs. Something that would help push out the brutal tone from my guitar and amp. These were those picks. I was using the ultex sharps for years only realizing they were scooping my tone to a certain extent. These primetones really elevated my playing style and freedom all over the fret board. Highly recommend giving them a try.
The only complaint I have is the price tag.

I thought I?d try these out for curiosity's sake, and picked some up a few weeks ago. The morning I tried them I was absolutely dumbstruck, honestly, by how much of a difference there was in the clarity and tone of each note I picked. These picks are a treat for the ears and they're quite comfortable easy to keep hold of. I practiced for two hours that morning with one before taking a break, and in that amount of time I didn't once lose my grip, and didn't need to concentrate much effort into holding onto the pick.
