Very light home usage resulted in stripped screw. Completely useless stand. Built to fail.

EVERY SINGLE TIME you have one, the screw that holds the slide arm in place will fail. EVERY SINGLE TIME. They should package a roll of tape with each one of these as you WILL need to use it to hold it in place. Our rehearsal room as about 4 of these, all broken the same way. Now my home one has gone as well after just months of minimal usage.

Purchased: Summer 2023.
This is a good stand for infrequent use and with light mics. I connected a Shure SM7B and the weight has been a challenge as the boom sags. It's better when I keep the boom length very short, but that thumb screw has now stopped working. I thought I'd save some money as Yorkville's robust model was more. It would have been a better choice.

I just bought it on special. Does was its supposed to do. Great for the stage and light studio use......good value i think.
