Intonation and action is terrible from factory, makes it more a toy than an instrument, it is very frustrating if you have a somewhat trained ear (or you are obsessed with good tuning). I bought ebony nut and saddle and heavily compensated the C and E strings and now it is much better. I also used some dye and Try Oil to give a different finish. The fretboard wood is quite dry and also benefits from some treatment.

I think of it more as a DIY kit, as it needs new compensated saddle and strings to keep intonation, and action was too high. 1 star without modifications (even the cheapest instrument should have somewhat good intonation), 5 stars when considering price + set up. Nice wood and finish. Tuners aren't great.

This is my first ukulele and I am in love with it. For its price, I am completely satisfied with the quality, finishing, sound, and material it made of. This is probably the cheapest concert ukulele you can get on the market. Good value for beginners like me! One thing I don’t like is that there is no knob at the bottom of the ukulele which can be used to secure a strap for holding the ukulele while playing. But overall, this is a great deal!

Bought this gem as my first ukulele over a month ago and I love it. It keeps in tune very well and it has a great resonance and it packs a punch of sound. Very good 100% reccomend
