Answer: It should, yes.
If it is suitable for a bass drum or floor tom, it will have the range for Tympani.

Very easy to use, get the app, go to "drumset calculator", check off the size drums you have, select if you want low to medium resonance and place the tuner on your rim, place the drum on a fkat surface, tap the batter head near each lug and tune to the required frequency as per what was recommended on the app, then flip the drum over and repeat with the resonant head. Absolutely perfect tuning, the best tool you will ever have, even if you have a cheaper set of drums, buy some quality heads and use this tuner. Tuning manually is a skill that usually takes years to master. This tool is all you need, ever!

Learning to tune drums was a steep learning curve. Sure, tuning by ear is great but it can be time consuming and frustrating when you can't quite get it right. The Tune Bot allowed me to dial in my kit far better and faster than I had been able to do by ear, and it has never sounded better. The software gives you a great stepping off point for experimentation, and once you have your kit dialed in you can save your settings and return to them easily every time you change heads. If this unit was lost I would replace it in a heartbeat. It's not cheap, but it's great value.

dont buy this and expect it to work like a guitar tuner. you need to be really good at tuning drums already for it to be useful at all.
im new to tuning drums and i've been working on my snare drum for 2+ hours now.
if you know how to tune drums, you dont need tunebot.
if you dont know how to tune drums, tunebot is more of a hinderance.
i guess its for studios that are constantly retuning drums to specific songs.
