Very solid and heavy, has great features in terms of adjustment, stock beater is pretty nice too, drum key clip is fantastic. One thing that I don't like is the velcro on the bottom of the pedal as I don't play on a carpet - type surface all of the time where this would be applicable, and it picks up all kinds of gross things that are on the floor of where you're playing. I think that it should have the rubbery grip like the 5000 pedal. Overall good though.
