This pedal sounds really good. And not just because it's cheap. It actually sounds really cool. Its made of a hard plastic that is fairly durable. Obviously not as durable as a boss pedal but still, pretty good. And I like the knob placement, it's out of the way. I'd highly recommend owning this pedal

I am not sure what type of distortion others are wanting to achieve but I LOVE this pedal.
It is not a grainy buzzy distortion but more smooth and organic.
If you don't judge it by its name or the fact it is plastic...you will be impressed.
I am looking to buy a few more for a second board and a spare.
I can also dial it down and use as an overdrive.
Give it a chance. I can't say enough about this little prize.
NOTE: if you are looking for a Metal type shredder pedal...this ain't it.

I like its classic Rock Feel to it, it has that 70-80s sound to it. they keep it nice and simple with the Distortion, Tone, and Level Knobs, and the sound to it is really nice. Its a great pedal for classic rock and blues but definitely not heavy enough if you are a hardcore metal head (not bad for some metal stuff though)
