A budget CE-2??!

To me , this sounds pretty close to the original danelectro cool cat chorus ( late 90s big pedal), which in turn was an apparent clone of a CE-2. Yes it’s plastic, yes it’s cheaper, but it does a great subtle chorus on lower mix settings as well as a great heavy detuned chorus sound that I love about the older CE1 and CE2. Another cool plus is there is a bit of delay between dry and wet signal so can sort of get a double track sound. Will be getting another one of these for a back up.

As someone who has used many different pedals and built in chorus effects this is my go too, i love them more than the boss and mxr chorus, At the price is it a steal, i plan to rework it into a metal hobby box eventually just for added protection but the plastic is very good

Don't get all bent out of shape because it is plastic or that it is not true bypass. It does a super job in a pinch.

Like other reviewers I love the subtle chorus on this pedal--that is its strength. Easy to use, and easy on the wallet--especially for me as I got one used--so even less. I also like it with my bass as well as guitar. It can also function as an inexpensive back up or a second chorus if you like the wilder chorus sound but want one that is more subtle. A fun pedal to play through

I agree with the 1st post, best chourus ive owned at any price took seconds to dial in Lifesons sound recommend to any one looking for that subtle chourus

It's cheap & more than worth it, especially if you love a touch of chorus more than full blown chorus. It will do more than subtle chorus, but that's its strength, the subtle chorus. Some Chorus pedals are so focused on the big chorus, they forget the subtle. For someone like me who plays for fun, this is a great pedal to have & use.

When I ordered this pedal i was a bit skeptical. 19.95 seemed real cheap for a guitar pedal. But I thought for that cheap what do I have to lose. However when i first used this pedal it blew my mind. the sound quality is amazing. it sounds like my buddies' 100 dollar chorus pedal. the sound is very whole and crisp. it sounds killer when finger picking. overall this is by far one of the greatest pedals i have.
