Description
The Demonator is a single-chain drive pedal, equipped with a demon style power shifter long footboard. An interchangeable cam and infinitely adjustable beater angle allow you to customize the pedal to your preferred feel and power. I got these back when these were the only pedals in the 280 ish range. Sadly Iron Cobras back then moved on past 250 range so I took a chance with the P-932.
I still use these as my daily pedals. Unless you drive a car over them, they should last you practices and gigs just fine. I hit 220-230 bpm with these and if your technique is good you can push these to higher tempos.
These pedals will serve you well and the responsiveness is actually very respectable. If you play lightly the pedal will act as so. If you play heavy you will feel the thump of the kick. If Iron Cobras feel expensive for you these will not disappoint as an alternative. Abit less weight than maybe some would prefer. I'm approximately 185 lbs in weight
